Vitamix Serial Number Location

23 reviews of Vita-Mix Corporation 'A friend has had one for years. I love the smoothies and soup she made, so I bought one on QVC. I love my Vitamix blender. All they needed was the serial number--no proof of purchase, no warranty slip, nothing. You’ll need your Vitamix’s 18-digit serial number as well — it’s on the back or bottom of the motor base. When you file a claim for a household blender, you can choose a $70 Vita-Mix gift card or a replacement blade assembly. The Vitamix online store sells spatulas, cookbooks, container cups and other accessories for your blending hobby.

In the October Costco Connections magazine there was a full page ad for a new Venturist Series V1200 model. Does anyone have any additional info on it, particularly cost?!

It appears to based on an Ascent 2300 but includes Bluetooth enabled app connectivity and timer adjustment. The package includes 64 oz container, 8 oz bowl, 20 oz cup, blade base, blade scraper, tamper & holder and the recipe book. It carries the 10 year warranty.

Being new to a Vitamix it looks interesting and am considering not opening the 5300 we just got at there a couple weeks back and getting this instead... Any info is appreciated!!

I'm planning to buy a used Vitamix blender from an auction site (see [photos] (http://imgur.com/a/jtWYQ)). The model number of the blender is VM0109 and on the front of the blender is labelled 'Total Nutrition Center Whole Food Machine'. The rated wattage of the mixer is 580W - 630W.

  • Anyone know how old the blender is likely to be?

  • New Vitamix 5200 is rated at 1380W. Given the old blender is 630W will I be able to crush ice, make green smoothies etc?

  • Is there anything I should check before buying an old blender?
