I've been using Utorrent to download torrents for a few years now and all of the sudden I started getting this error where it says 'Downloading Metadata' and it never. Torrent poisoning is intentionally sharing corrupt data or data with misleading file names using. From uncorrupted files (e.g. It may have similar or same metadata). When a user attempts to download the corrupted content, the server will fail to establish a connection due to the large volume of invalid information. Ok, here it goes:
The torrent has 3 seeds so it's definitely seeded, just that QBT seem to be unable to connect to any of them, displays 0 (3) for seeds
There's a one peer that it can connect to, however it doesn't display the ip/host in the 'partners' tab (lower half of the screen)
Not sure whether it some connectivity issue, but may be. DHT and PEX are enabled, but they're not finding any peers, all seeds/peers are coming from ye olde trackers (mainly UDP coppersurfer).
I've been able to download that torrent in the past on a different machine, but in the same network.

Like many others, I've been having recent issues with torrents being stuck on 'downloading metadata', and this is usually with magnet links.
I noticed something interesting today: I have another QNAP NAS that I'm setting up for an offsite task, and if I copy the magnet link and paste it into the DL Station on that NAS it starts downloading as expected.
But wait, there's more. The download on the other NAS will then start working as well.
What do they have in common? My router, my ISP's router (bridged), and my VPN provider.
My router has had entirely different firmware installed on it since the onset of the issue (for other reasons) and it did not happen to resolve this problem. So my router is not my primary suspect at the moment.

VPN provider. I tried the same trick with the VPN disconnected and the same thing happened: The torrent started within a short time on the secondary NAS, and then started a minute or so later on the primary NAS. So it's not the VPN.
Torrent Metadata Needed
ISP and/or their bridge. While there could be something with my router, it seems slim since it's gone from stock firmware to Tomato since this started happening. The only thing left is Comcast and their bridged router.
I could be missing all kinds of things here, which is why I'm posting this. I thought the second NAS working, and then causing the first NAS to start working would be a new twist on this topic.
Thoughts?
EDIT: Man, it really seems like it would be my router. Once you're on the WAN side of that and going out to the bridge 'and beyond', there wouldn't be any distinction between the two clients, right?
